Although Hurricane Sandy struck nearly five months ago, many New Jersey and New York
residents are still enduring hardship as if the storm happened this month. The damage
caused by Sandy is extensive and has destroyed homes and communities across the area.
With issues surrounding aid money distribution and insurance claims, there are some who
still do not have homes or schools their children normally attended.
