<br />Margaret Whitaker is a former elementary school teacher with a masters degree in elementary education. She has taken courses at the Institute of Childrens Literature in Connecticut and has been writing educational books for teachers and parents for the last 10 years. Whitakers interest in family genealogy motivated her to write this book. She is currently retired.</p>
